ShnUpdates - Nof 26.10.17

This week we had a very special meeting – your lovely kids met the new Northerners Shnatties and created a whole day for them in Jerusalem! It was great! Not just because of seeing all of them together, but to see how your kids have changed, how well they took responsibility for the whole program and built is from a-z, I was really proud to be there and look how independent they were, how intelligent and what a great Dugma Ishit (leading by example) and leaders they became!

The day started with some ice-breaking games followed by a huge scavenger hunt in all the great places the Shnatties love in Jerusalem! They even got free food in their favorite iconic Jerusalem book store + café, “tmol Shilshom”. After lunch they run a Peula for the new Shnatties about Netzer ideology and shnat, raising deep questions about our movement future.

The last part of the day was a shared Maamad on the Beit Shmuel roof, where they started the year. Doing it with the new Shnatties made it very special. All together – it was a very successful day and was sad to say goodbye.

As Shnat is about to come to an end, some of them are using their last Chofesh days, traveling in Israel and taking some time alone to think about the past year and the one to come. We have the last two weeks of Shnat ahead of us – this week we are going to the AZYC seminar, saying goodbye to people on Lotan and the week after - finishing at Sikkum seminar at a lovely place called Nachsolim.

Here is the weekly update from our beloved Shnatties – click Here

Wishing you Shabbat Shalom!
