Let me give you a glimpse into the last eight days on Shnat Netzer- Wednesday- opening event of CONNECTIONS- WOW! Thursday- Bnot Mitzvah for members of WUPJ-LA at the Kotel; themed tours; shnattim outing with their home movement workers Friday- sessions at CONNECTIONS, including Asha, Mili and Liat's session about Youth leading Youth; Mega Kabbalat Shabbat; Netzer and TaMaR Friday night meal, and Farewell to the one and only, but really!- Maoz Haviv. WEEKLY UPDATE- 19.5.17

Dear parents, shnattim, bogrim, bogrot, communities and friends shalom rav, We hope you are well! This week has been packed with good things. The biggest thing without a doubt is the World Union for Progressive Judaism's conference in Jerusalem- CONNECTIONS. We have over 450 Progressive Jews from all over the world. It is lovely seeing familiar faces and friends; hearing the shnattim so excited about seeing community leaders and members; feeling that we are part of something bigger. The shnattim are here with us, participating in sessions, and will also lead a session today, a tour tomorrow and will wrap up CONNECTIONS running Havdallah tomorrow night. Dear parents, shnattim, bogrim, bogrot, communities and friends shalom rav, We hope you are well! The intro this week will be very short- Shnattim are all away on the Northern Tiyulim (hikes) on both Etgar and Machon. Sounds like they are having an amazing time, though it has been quite hot the past few days. Photos below speak for themselves :) Despite the quietness at the office, we are quite busy preparing to have over 400 (!) deligates in the building next week for CONNECTIONS- the WUPJ's conference. 50 of them will be young adults, joining our TaMaR "leaders of today" seminar, and we are very excited to have our shnattim not only participating in the conference, but also presenting!! Dear parents, shnattim, bogrim, bogrot, communities and friends shalom rav, We hope you are well! Working with 18 y/o youngsters is truly amazing. This is such an interesting age to work with and help shape. Sometimes, they amaze you- when you have a very meaningful discussion; when you learn something new from them; when you have an argument with them. Sometimes, they drive you completely crazy- doing stupid, acting like little kids, trying things that they know they will never try again, just for the sake of it. Those days…. So tiring…. Sometimes, you just feel proud, as if you are their parent. Proud that they made a certain decision, chose a certain path, really got something or did real
