WEEKLY UPDATE- 27.7.17

Dear parents, shnattim, bogrim, bogrot, communities and friends shalom rav, We hope you are well! In the past week, I had two great opportunities to spend some time with our shnattim- On Friday afternoon, Adam M., Hannah, Liat, Louis and myself, joined the Bergman Educators Seminar, and travelled together to Givat Haviva. Aside from it being a very special Kibbutz, it is also the home of Machaneh Chavaya- The Israel Netzer summer camp. On Wednesday, only the brave ones, went on an adventure called Rafsodia- this is a two day activity in the Sea of Galilee, where you build a raft the first day, and on the second day, sail it to the other side of the Kineret Sea. This year the activity was sponsored by the JNF-KKL and hosted over 700 participants- all from worldwide Zionist Youth Movements! Very proud of Tilda, Abe, M

WEEKLY UPDATE- 7.7.17

Dear parents, shnattim, bogrim, bogrot, communities and friends shalom rav, We hope you are well! This weekly update is about changes, as there are so many of them recently- The biggest change for me is the retirement of Maoz Haviv- the amazing Head of Netzer Olami and TaMaR, who retired last week after over 20 years in Netzer. While we knew this was coming for quite some time, when things actually happens, they may still overwhelm you. Here is a short tribute to Maoz from the WUPJ. You can read what I wrote about Maoz a few weeks ago here. I was appointed as the interim Director of Netzer Olami and Tamar until we have a clearer vision on Inspiring the Next Generation of Progressive Youth. I
