North America Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY) is the youth movement of The Reform Union in North America (URJ). Some of NFTY's pillars are Reform Judaism, Zionism and social action. In other words- NFTY is the sister movement of Netzer in North America (a much more established and more experienced sister, that is….). Dear parents, shnattim, bogrim, bogrot, communities and friends shalom rav, We hope you are well! Last weekend was a real celebration here on Shnat Netzer Nof. South and North finally met over a juggling workshop- Our time together included interesting sessions, meals, tour to the old city of Jerusalem and peer- led activities. After this wonderful Shabbat Beyachad (together, Etgar and Machon officially started. For the Southerners- the first period of the year; for the Northerners- the third and last. Dear parents, shnattim, bogrim, bogrot, communities and friends shalom rav, We hope you are well! How can we describe this week? HECTIC! Two groups on their parallel journeys, finally coming together. One group with 3.5 months of experiences and memories in Israel, and one that has been here for less than 2 weeks. And this morning- both groups came together in Beit- Shmuel for a long weekend. As you can imagine, we are all very excited and over-hyped, so excuse the short intro, and enjoy our update below. WEEKLY UPDATE- 2.2.17

Dear parents, shnattim, bogrim, bogrot, communities and friends shalom rav, We hope you are well! This weekly update is dedicated to our Northern group, who is now the proud big sisters/ brothers of a brand new group of shnattim- Shnat Nof South. Our Northerners are about to complete their last full week in Me'ona, in the North Galilee, where they spent the last two months volunteering. They volunteered in schools in the area, worked with teens at risk, met people living in different villages on the Lebanese border, toured the Galilee and the Golan Heights- all orchestrated by the UJIA, and the brilliant team- Amir and Elinor (+ help from their back office of course!).
